The Samsung Blade S5600 pink mobile phone is a middle-range touchscreen phone targeting the market for people who want a touchscreen but don’t have the money for the high-range options. The Blade name is given to the version of the phone that is being sold by Vodafone, although Orange also sell it under the name of Preston.
As so many phones are, the S5600 is essentially an upgrade for the previous Samsung phone the Tocco Lite. Therefore it has all the features of the Tocca but also adds into the equation 3G and a better camera. The great thing is that it does this as well as being the almost exactly the same size. However the screen on the Blade is actually slightly smaller than the Tocco Lite which might put some people off, although it isn’t by a huge amount.
Features: Samsung Blade S5600 Pink Mobile Phone
Some of the features of the Samsung Blade S5600 Pink Mobile Phone include:
- The upgrade of the camera is to a 3.15 megapixel that has smile detection, a flash as well as an autofocus feature. While the megapixel count might be a bit low for everyday use the other features will make up for this for most people.
- The display is 16M colours with a 240x320pixel resolution. It has an auto rotate feature which is handy.
- A built in music player as well as FM radio. This is the same as the version on the Tocco Lite.
- 3G connection as well as GPRS and Bluetooth. The internet connection can run up to 7.2Mbps using HSDPA.
Style: Samsung Blade S5600 Pink Mobile Phone
The S5600 has very obviously been influenced in style by the iPhone, but that isn’t a problem because it looks fantastic. The operating system is sleep and easy to use, and the phone itself has the curves and shine that you have come to expect from a modern phone.
Summary: Samsung Blade S5600 Pink Mobile Phone
The Samsung Blade S5600 Pink Mobile Phone is a worthy upgrade to the Tocco Lite, although if you don’t need 3G or a better camera you might be better off getting the cheaper phone as they are very similar. The flash on the camera is great, but whether you need it or not depends on how much you use your phone as a camera. If money is no object then I would choose the Blade every time just for the extra features which more than make up for the slightly smaller screen.
However both the Tocco Lite and the Samsung Blade are great phones and no matter which one you choose you are likely to be satisfied with its performance and feature set.
